Liz Macarilla is an Associate and Project Manager with 20 years of experience at PRA. A registered architect in the State of Massachusetts, she is responsible for all aspects of project work from feasibility studies and programming through design, coordination, detailing and construction administration.
Ms. Macarilla has a record of successfully managing projects for both public and private sector clients that include renovations, new construction, historic restoration and adaptive reuse, with typical projects often involving a thoughtful and strategic combination of these approaches. Adept at developing feasibility study reports for proposed work in relation to project-specific constraints, she works with clients from start to finish to craft and execute complex multi-phased projects, marrying needed capital improvements with targeted architectural design solutions to deliver impactful, transformative results.
Ms. Macarilla has extensive experience with higher education project work and the uniquely multi-faceted coordination that it entails. Her work has included a wide range of on-campus residence halls, laboratories, classrooms, libraries, offices and exterior improvements. She routinely addresses issues of environmental sustainability and accessibility as intrinsic aspects of her work.
